bits and baking

We are living in unusual times. Loss, seperation, distance are all lonely words. But in this time, I feel connected. Connected to what is important and who is important. I may be connected physicially, by telephone, by internet, or various applications. But I am connected. Sometimes, I feel, more so then before March 14, 2020. Whatever it is, change is upon us again and I don't know how I feel. So I will bake, make jam, roll rotis and let the tensions ease, the radio chatter, the kids play make-believe until this next step. From my quiet corner that I'm not quite ready to leave.
